LIVE: Voting gets underway in the Spanish General Election

Voting has got underway in the Spanish General Election, with votes being held for the lower House – The Congress of Deputies.

Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez is hoping to secure a majority, however the run up to the election has failed to present a clear winner.

PP are hoping to win seats, as are Cuididanos and Podemos. Right wing party Vox is also expected to make their political debut into the hemicycle.
