PSOE and Podemos form preliminary coalition agreement
Acting Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, and Unidos Podemos leader Pablo Iglesias have signed a preliminary agreement that could see the first coalition government take shape.
The agreement comes less than 48 hours since the inconclusive General Election on Sunday, and paves the way for the formation of a new government.
The two parties hold a combined 155 seats, twenty-one short of a majority. Negotiations with other parties are now expected to begin to try to enable an investiture vote to take place in the coming weeks.
