Podemos members vote in favour of coalition agreement

Membership of Podemos have overwhelmingly voted to support the proposed coalition agreement with PSOE, formed after this months General Election.

97% of those who took part in the party ballot voted in favour of the country’s first formal coalition.

134,760 members of the party voted over the last few days.

This months General Election was triggered after PSOE leader and acting prime minister Pedro Sanchez failed to secure an investiture vote in the Congress of Deputies.
