Pedro Sanchez writes to PSOE members to ask for their approval for a coalition with Podemos

Acting Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has written to his party members to ask for their approval to a proposed coalition agreement with Unidos Podemos.

The letter asks for members of PSOE to vote in favour of a formal coalition, at a party conference to be held next Saturday.

Fellow coalition partners Unidos Podemos have also formalised their position, and too are asking their membership to vote in the coming days after the party executive agreed to the terms of the coalition during a meeting on Saturday.

No party gained a parliamentary majority in last Sunday’s General Election.
