Sadness as toddler’s body discovered at foot of well

Rescuers have found the body of a two-year-old boy almost two weeks after he fell down a narrow well, an official has said.

Julen Rosello fell into the hole on 13 January, while playing in a mountainous area near the town of Totalán, just northeast of the coastal city of Malaga.

Tributes have been paid to the child, the parents and also the rescue teams to endeavoured to rescue the child.

The news was announced in the early hours of Saturday morning after days of drilling and mining through rock.
