Spanish family killed in Hudson helicopter crash
A family from Spain have died after a helicopter they were travelling on board crashed into the Hudson river in New York.
A New York City Hall spokesman identified two of those killed as Agustin Escobar, a Siemens executive, and Merce Camprubi Montal – believed to be his wife.
The pilot was also killed as the aircraft crashed into the Hudson River at around 3.17pm on Thursday.

6 people, three adults and three children are known to have died when the aircraft came down into waters between Manhattan and New Jersey.
The aircraft is understood to have been a privately owned tourist helicopter, however details surrounding the flight remain unconfirmed.
Last night it was confirmed an investigation is to be launched by the national transportation safety board to determine the cause of the crash.
