Spain Experiences Record Heat in August

Spain experienced its hottest August on record this year, averaging twenty five degrees Celsius, according to AEMET.

Last months figure surpasses the previous record set in 2003 and 2023 by two-tenths of a degree.

If current temperature trends continue, AEMET has warned that this year may also position itself as the hottest year in Spanish history.
