Severe Flooding Hits Eastern Spain Following Landslides
Parts of eastern Spain suffered severe flooding yesterday due to torrential rain.
Yesterday say local authorities in Murcia, Valencia, and Catalonia closed schools and issue travel warnings due to the persistent rains.
Whilst emergency services have reported a number of serious floods – there are currently no reported injuries.
Weather agency Aemet has issued amber and yellow alerts for the west and east of the country today, with another weather front moving from the Atlantic at the weekend triggering another series of alerts.
