Sanchez to form Government after winning investiture debate
Members of the Spanish Parliament have voted in favour of a PSOE led coalition government.
Unless there is an unexpected change, that vote should pass this afternoon. Yesterday saw Sánchezl present a comprehensive plan focusing on social and labor issues, including agreements with independentist forces.
The leader of the opposition, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and Vox’s leader, Santiago Abascal, also spoke, voicing their critcism of the PSOE leader, and issuing political warnings over agreements made to gain the support needed for the vote to pass.
The amnesty law remains a central topic, with other parties participating.
