Negotiations in Brussels over Gibraltar post-Brexit relationships end without full agreement
Talks between Vice President Maros Sefcovic, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares, British counterpart David Cameron, and Gibraltar’s Chief Minister Fabian Picardo ended without a full agreement on Gibraltar’s post-Brexit relationship with the EU.
The meeting, focusing on adjusting Gibraltar’s ties with the EU after Brexit, showcased “significant progress”, including agreements on mobility, goods, and airport operations.
However, no common conclusions were achieved at the meeting yesterday in Brussels, leaving further discussions open for future resolution.
