Investigation launched after Bank of Spain website is hacked

An invstigation has been launched after the The Bank of Spain’s website was hit by a cyber attack at the weekend.

The Denial-of-Service attack temporarily disrupted access to the site, a spokesman for the central bank said on Monday. However the attack has no effect on personal data or the functioning of the bank.

Now an investigation has been launched to determine who launched the attack, and how to prevent it from occurring in the future.
