Easter Holiday Tragedy: Twenty-Two Fatalities Reported on Spanish Roads

This Easter holiday period has resulted in twenty two fatalities on Spanish roads – five fewer than last year – that’s according to preliminary data from Guardia Civil’s DGT.

The deadliest day was Sunday, when seven individuals lost their lives in various accidents.

Transport authorities also reported a surge in rail and air travel, with over six thousand domestic flights scheduled yesterday.

The busiest airports were Madrid-Barajas, Barcelona-El Prat, and Palma de Mallorca.
