Regional health bodies approve end of mask rules for medical sites
After over a thousand days, the Ministry of Health has announced that regions across the country have agreed to the end of the mandatory use of masks in doctors surgeries, hospitals, care homes and pharmacies.

Following a meeting of regional health chiefs last week, it was confirmed that the usage of masks in these settings would now only be recommended, rather than enforced.
The cabinet will now approve the changes in the coming days, before the some of the final legislation surrounding the coronavirus pandemic is lifted.
