Spain’s Recovery Plan Approved by EU Ministers
Spain’s revised Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan has been approved by European Union ministers, granting Spain access to €83.2 billion in loans and €10.3 billion in grants until 2026.
The plan includes modifications to fifty-two measures due to supply problems, the Russian-Ukrainian war, inflation, and technical difficulties.
Changes in the plan involve eliminating tolls on highways in exchange for promoting rail freight transportation, and various strategies of reforms and investments of other European Union countries were also approved.
