Over 120 flooding related incidents reported due to heavy rains

Over 120 incidents were reported due to the heavy rains in the last few days, with areas across the Costa del Sol and Guadalhorce recording the highest number of incidents.

Homes and vehicles have been damaged due to flooding, with some businesses reporting total loss of stock. One car rental site was flooded, with hundreds of cars damaged, some beyond repair.

A small tornado was also reported in Benalmadena, with it damaging trees around the Tivoli Avenue area.

Emergency services have worked around the clock to try and reduce the volume of damage, following on from a series of Yellow, and amber weather warnings.
