0 A former Royal Navy officer tragically drowned in Benalmadena whilst on holiday with his partner Beverley Absolom.
An inquest this week heard that the Father-of-three drowned after entering ‘choppy’ sea water.
Mr Shepherd was given CPR by lifeguards before being rushed to Malaga hospital. But he later died in hospital after being flown back to Britain. Carmarthenshire Coroner Mark Layton said: “It would appear that Mr Shepherd got into difficulty while swimming.”
