Sports facilities in Orihuela undergo upgrades

Sports facilities in Orihuela have undergone a refurbishment, after the Ayuntamiento announced a series of works to be carried out at the Palmeral sports centre.

Improved seating and signage, as well as repairs to the playing surfaces were carried out over the last few weeks. Other local authority grounds will also be getting upgrades in the coming months.

The works were inspected by the city’s Councilor for Sports, Víctor Valverde, last week.
