TRAM network to undergo multi-million euro upgrade

The Generalitat has announced a €11.2 million investment in the refurbishment of stations on the regional tram lines in Alicante and Benidorm.

Works will soon begin on stations on Line 9 between Benidorm and Dénia and part of Line 1 between Luceros and Benidorm.

Improved access at 13 stations for those with reduced mobility is one of the key aspects of the works, ahead of new trams coming into service in the coming months.
