A second region is going back into lockdown after a new coronavirus outbreak.
Entry into and out of La Marina, north of Lugo in Galicia, will be banned from midnight but with some exceptions such as work reasons.
About 70,000 locals affected by the lockdown will not be stopped from moving within the 14 municipalities that make up the region in the far north-west of the country.
The use of face masks will also be made mandatory at all times outdoors, including on beaches and swimming pools.
