33 arrested and thousands recovered from cybercrime gang

Guardia Civil have recovered over €133,000 from various bank accounts linked to cybercriminals.

The monies were confiscated following a series of complaints from sixteen victims in Burgos.

Following raids carried out across the country, thirty-three individuals have been arrested.

The operation spanned four provinces, including Alicante and Madrid.

Guardia Civil hailed the public for making the complaints either via their website, in person or via the AlertCops app.
