Underwater search continues as hunt for abducted children continues around Tenerife
An underwater search vessel has been brought in as the search for missing 1 and 6-year-old girls who were abducted by their father in Tenerife continues.
The Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO) ship – Ángeles Alvariño – left Santa Cruz de Tenerife on Sunday to continue it’s sonar scan of the sea bed.
Father of the two children – Tomás Antonio Giméno – called his former partner and the mother of the two children at the end of April to tell her she would never see her children again.
The search is ongoing.
