One child has died, and at least 30 are missing, after a boat wrecked around 150km from the Canary Islands.
24 people were rescued by coast guards after the vessel they were on board sank south of Gran Canaria.
Officials have said around 60 people were onboard the inflatable craft which left from the Westen Sahara region of Cape Bojador.
Coast guards from Morocco saved 24 people who were found floating in the water, whilst a Spanish sea rescue helicopter recovered the body of the child who drowned.
