Coastguards continue search for two crew members of a sailboat that departed on Sunday from Cala Galdana, Menorca

Coastguards are continuing the search for a missing father and son who were on a sailboat traveling from Cala Galdana to Cala d’Or in Mallorca.

The search began when contact with the sailboat was lost during stormy weather at the weekend which brought with it widespread disruption to the Balearics.

Hurricane-force winds of over than seventy-five miles per hour, along with torrential rain battered the archipelago on Sunday.
