British Tourist Drowns in Menorca

A seventy-year-old British tourist has drowned at Son Bou beach in Menorca.

The man is understood to have got into difficulties whilst swimming on Friday.

The man was won holiday with his wife while celebrating his birthday.

Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful and he was reported as dead at the scene.

A post-mortem confirmed drowning as the cause of death.
