Two Dutch Citizens Remain Hospitalised Following Tragic Collapse in Palma
Two people remain in hospital following Thursday nights collapse of a building on the sea front in Palma de Mallorca which left four dead.
A 30-year-old Dutch man, remains in hospital with a head injury, whilst a 26-year-old Dutch woman is undergoing ongoing treatment for a chest trauma.
Medical staff have said however that their prognoses remain positive and both are recovering well.
Two German tourists, a Spanish employee, and a Senegalese man died in the incident, with investigations ongoing into the cause of the collapse of the terrace floor, with initial findings suggesting a structural collapse due to excessive load and age-related deterioration.
