Aemet issues further heatwave warnings
Meteorological agency Aemet has issued a warning that Spain is facing a third heatwave, which is expected to last for most of the week.
The heatwave is caused by warm air from North Africa and high pressure across the country.
Temperatures will be five to ten degrees above seasonal averages in most areas, with some places experiencing temperatures fifteen degrees higher than usual.
Today and tomorrow, temperatures could exceed thirty-five degrees, and in some southern areas, temperatures of forty-two to forty-four degrees are possible.
