Guardia civil seizes nearly two tonnes of hashish in Girona

Guardia Civil have confiscated one thousand nine hundred and eighty-six kilos of hashish in Garrigas, Girona.

The drugs were found in a truck at a service area, hidden in fifty-one bales.

The driver of the truck has been arrested in relation to the discovery of the drugs.

The driver has been placed on remand ahead of appearing before the Acting Investigating Court of Guardia de Figueres.
