US Embassy issues warning to it’s citizens in Spain

The United States has issued a security alert for its citizens[icon name=”external-link” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] living in Spain over concerns about the increase in the number of sexual assault cases reported in the country.

Americans have been advised to “drink responsibly” and avoid travelling on their own according to guidelines issued by the US embassy in Madrid.

It said the advice was issued in response to a rise in reported incidents over the last five years.
