Traffic Safety Campaign Targets Construction Zones on Interurban Roads

The DGT has launched a new road works surveillance campaign on interurban routes, focusing on construction zones in an effort to enhance safety.

Running this week, it targets risky behaviours in work areas.

In 2022, a hundred and seventy-two accidents were reported in such zones.

The Spanish Road Safety Strategy 2030 aims to integrate safer, smarter traffic management, with real-time work warnings.
