Severe storms lash parts of Valencia

Severe storms have hit parts of the Valencian Community, with strong winds causing damage in several towns.

AEMET recorded gusts of up to 149 kilometres per hour, while emergency services reported incidents involving fallen trees, damaged structures and other storm-related damage.

The Generalitat’s Emergency Coordination Centre has warned that further storms could bring significant thunder and lightning storms and is advising people to remain cautious.
