Tourism employment levels show solid gains year-on-year

Employment in Spain’s tourism sector reached more than 3.18 million workers during the second quarter, an increase of 5.4 percent compared with the same period last year.

The government says tourism continues to be an important source of employment and economic activity, with growth recorded across the sector as the summer season gets underway.
