Three Arrested Following Infant’s Death in Illegal Circumcision Case

Guardia Civil have arrested three individuals, including the parents of a baby who died after an alleged illegal circumcision in Almería.

The infant suffered severe bleeding from the procedure which was carried out by an individual without medical training in Roquetas de Mar.

Although emergency services attempted to save the baby, the child was declared dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.

An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death while the investigation continues with searches related to the case.
