Spanish students see standards in science and maths fall
Spanish students ability in maths and science has fallen, according to the latest PISA study from the OECD.
The Programme for International Student Assessment – which measures 15-year-olds’ ability to use their reading, mathematics and science knowledge and skills to meet real-life challenges – has seen educational performance match Hungary and Lithuania in those two subjects.

Data on reading and writing skills has yet to be published in Spain, due to issues with the information provided.
China and Singapore both came top of the table.
