Spain Reaffirms Support for Ukraine Amid Potential Peace Talks

The Government has expressed unwavering support for Ukraine as ongoing tensions with Russia continue.

Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez spoke by phone this Thursday with Ukrainian President Volodímir Zelenski, assuring him that Spain remains committed to Ukraine’s sovereignty.

Sánchez highlighted that Spain’s backing extends beyond mere words, referencing the support demonstrated over the past three years.

This follows conversations between Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Zelenski that could pave the way for peace talks.
