Rafa Nadal to lead Spain in the Rio Olympics

Rafa Nadal will finally hold aloft the Spanish flag at the Olympic Games opening ceremony tonight in Rio.

The 30-year-old had been chosen to lead out the team in 2012 in London, only for a knee injury to deny him the opportunity.

The Rio Olympics will be Nadal’s second Summer Games after Beijing, where he won the gold medal in singles.
