Prime Minister Attends European Political Community Summit

Spanish and British prime ministers – Pedro Sánchez and sir Keir Starmer – have met in the UK in a meeting at the European Political Community (EPC) summit.

Following the meeting, both leaders expressed their optimism for a post-Brexit deal for Gibraltar, foreseeing its finalisation soon.

This was their first meeting since Labour came to power following the UK General Election earlier this month.

This was the first formal meeting of the pair, with both saying that the European Political Community summit sets a positive tone for future relations.
