Vox table motion of no-confidence in Pedro Sanchez

Vox party leader – Santiago Abascal – has submitted a motion of no-confidence in prime minister Pedro Sanchez.

In a press conference yesterday, the leader of the far-right party called the current government the “worst in… history”, whilst proposing Ramón Tamames as new prime minister.

Whilst the motion is lacking the support of opposition parties, Vox has said they do not believe the outcome of the vote will strengthen the government.

PP has said it will not give it’s backing to the confidence vote, calling the vote a “circus” and a “performance”.
