Begoña Gómez charged on four offences
The judge investigating the Prime Minister’s wife’s business activities, has issued a formal indictment to Begoña Gómez for four alleged offences.
According to the court order, the accusations concern alleged influence peddling and corruption in business linked to her contacts with companies that later received public support.
The judge has summoned Gómez to testify in the coming weeks and has requested additional documentation from several public bodies.
Her defence maintains that all her actions were lawful and that the case is based on unfounded assumptions.
