French President to visit Spain later this month

French President Emmanuel Macron will make a state visit to Spain later this month.

Macron will be in Spain on the 29th and 30th of September, where he will meet King Felipe the Sixth and Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.

His wife, Brigitte Macron, will accompany him.

The visit is expected to focus on relations between France and Spain, European cooperation and international issues.

It comes as both countries continue discussions over closer bilateral cooperation.
