Policía Nacional Launches Operation MINERVA Twenty Five

Policía Nacional, working with the EU Border Agency FRONTEX, have launched Operation MINERVA Twenty Five in Algeciras, Ceuta, and Tarifa.

The operation involves one hundred twenty nine experts from fifteen European countries.

The primary aim is to tackle illegal immigration and cross border crime.

Last year, the operation saw three thousand seven hundred twenty nine police actions and two hundred thirty four arrests.
