Parish Priest in Spain Sentenced to Eight and a Half Years for Sexual Abuse of Teenager

A 53-year-old priest from Talavera de la Reina has been sentenced to eight and a half years in prison for sexually abusing a teenager between 2010 and 2013.

The Supreme Court upheld the conviction including a €100,000 compensation for the victim, after the priest lodged an appeal.

The victim, a student in a school where the priest served, suffered abuses between 2010 and 2013, during a time when she was aged between 14 and 17 years.
