New Emergency Aid Package Announced by the Spanish Government
The Government has announced a new aid package of 2.2 billion euros to support recovery from last months floods in the Valencian region.
The measures announced by prime minister Pedro Sánchez include direct cash grants of ten thousand euros for vehicle purchases and aid worth one point two billion euros for self employed individuals and small and medium sized enterprises.
This funding will help cover repair costs for facilities, equipment, and inventories, as well as encourage new investments.
The funding announcement is the latest in a series of packages announced since the devastating floods which left two hundred and twenty people dead, and thousands of people left with flooded homes and businesses.
