Minister Ángel Víctor Torres Denies Allegations of Misconduct

Angel Víctor Torres, the Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, has refuted allegations of misconduct raised by businessman Víctor de Aldama.

Aldama made the statement whilst taking part in the ongoing corruption trial known as the Koldo Case.

In response, Mr. Torres presented flight documents from November 2018 which show he was not present in Madrid where Mr. Aldama said he was.

The minister argued that the accusations are part of a political agenda aimed to tarnish his reputation, and called for comments made by an opposition party member to be retracted.

The court is set to meet early next month to further interrogate the accusations.

All deny any wrongdoing.
