National Police seize over 11 tonnes of counterfeit football team shirts in Madrid raid

Policia Nacional in Madrid have confiscated over eleven tonnes of counterfeit football team shirts valued at over €6 million, aimed at illegal sales during the Champions League final and EURO 2024 Finals.

The operation – triggered by a tip-off last April about incoming fake goods from China – uncovered over 15 trucks loaded with counterfeit items, including luxury watches, leather goods, and electronics.

This bust is part of an ongoing investigation into the import and distribution of fake goods.
