Murder investigation launched after shopkeeper killed in Madrid

A murder investigation has been launched in Madrid after a 61-year-old woman was stabbed to death in a clothing store in Madrid.

Emergency services were called to the shop at Plaza de Tirso de Molina, where paramedics found the victim who had suffered a number of stab wounds.

Despite the actions of ambulance staff, the woman succumbed to her injuries.

Officers are currently trying to locate the murder weapon, and say they still are looking for a suspect.
