Madrid City Council Discovers Unlicensed Renovations in President Isabel Díaz Ayuso’s Apartment

Madrid City Council has given the owner of an apartment – where the regional President Isabel Díaz Ayuso resides – two months to request necessary permits for unlicensed renovations.

Opposition party Mas Madrid has accused the Council of illegality for missing inspection documents. Mayor José Luis Martínez Almeida dismissed the claims as “artificial politics”.

Parties in the region have called for full transparency in regards to the case.
