Luis Rubiales Found Guilty of Non-consensual Kiss

Former Spanish football chief Luis Rubiales has been found guilty of kissing player Jenni Hermoso without consent following the Women’s World Cup final in 2023.

The High Court has ordered Rubiales to pay a fine of more than ten thousand euros but acquitted him of coercion.

Rubiales has announced his intention to appeal the decision, claiming he will continue to fight legally against it.

Hermoso stated the incident tarnished one of the happiest days of her life.
