José Reñones Found Guilty of Double Murder

A jury in Cantabria has found José Reñones guilty of the murders of his partner, Eva Jaular, and their eleven month old daughter.

The jury deliberated for nearly six hours before concluding that Reñones attacked both victims by surprise, stabbing and beating Ms. Jaular.

Evidence presented during the trial revealed that Reñones had violated a restraining order in place at the time of the murders, which took place on the 17th of December 2021.

The prosecution is currently seeking a sentence of twenty-five years for Jaular’s murder and a full life-term for that of their daughter.
