Five arrested in anti-people trafficking operation
Policía Nacional has dismantled an alleged criminal organisation involved in the trafficking of women for sexual exploitation in Soria and Burriana, in Castellón.
Five people have been arrested.
Police say the organisation targeted vulnerable women, particularly from South America, bringing some to Spain and exploiting them in two brothels.
Investigators say the network used abusive conditions and psychological control to keep victims under its influence.
Officers also seized documentation and medicines for erectile dysfunction during searches in the two properties.
