IMF improves Spanish economic forecasts
The International Monetary Fund has improved it’s growth forecast for Spain, with the country showing the largest growth in the Eurozone.
However, their research also suggests that inflation will rise further, reaching 4.3% by the end of the year.
Their forecasts also suggest that growth next year will be slightly lower than initially forecasted, at 2%, a drop of 0.4% compared to the last quarters figures.
However, when compared to other European countries, Spain is expected to see strong growth, with Italy and France showing no change in their current growth and Germany expected to move into recession.
Across the G7, Spain tops the table, ahead of the United States, Canada, Japan and the United Kingdom.
